51green is committed to providing informative and accurate data. As such, we like to ensure that all the websites submitted are not under construction and do not contain any broken links. The more informative and reliable a website is the better would be the chances that a potential visitor would vote for that site.
Advertisements are not governed by the voting system
All website URLs that are submitted to the directories of 51green are regulated by the voting system. All sponsor advertisements that are located on the right side or at the top of the page are placed in such a manner so as to not obstruct the viewing of a customer and are not included in the voting system.
Editor Recommendations
51green also provides editorial recommendations which appear at the top of the normal listings and these also do not affect the voting system in any way. Such a recommendation might specify that the website is more informative than others but this is only the site editors recommendation, not voted as such by any visitors.
